So our art show was a couple of weeks ago, but since I'm already procrastinating writing that thesis due tomorrow for English I might as well update my journal entry here and post some pics from the gallery! It was a lo of fun and I'm beyond thankful for all the friends, family and strangers that showed up (even if  it was only for the Rainbow Waffles)!!! I don't even know where to start, things have been so chaotic here. Don't get me wrong I love it to death but it's insane. Classes are going fairly well - A's and B's for the most part (of the classes I know) and while I haven't taken any illustration, drawing or painting classes I am enjoying the core classes and electives I have. Midterms are pretty much over so I'm trying to relax a little without overdoing it and becoming complacent. But yeah, to say the least things are crazy. I've been here a week now, and this place is my home. My people are here, but not just in the artistic sense. I've met some of the most open and honest people I could ever imagine, they're amazing. I just spent the last 3 hours talking with a guy I basically just met about his mother who passed away from cancer, he gave me advice on dealing with Brooklyn, another guy talked Sandman with me for a good hour and it was an all around amazing time. This happens everyday, with all sorts of different people.
